Evan Spiegel

Snapchat creator Spiegel became one of the youngest public company CEOs at age 26 when Snap began trading in March 2017. Each day some 191 million people use Snapchat to send disappearing messages; the app faces growing competition from Facebook-owned Instagram. Spiegel cofounded the company with Bobby Murphy, a Stanford University fraternity brother, in 2011. His initial ambition was to be a jazz saxophonist but somehow, he got into taking pictures and blogging in Washington.
